Surveys and Interviews

Redwalla can design, administer, analyze, and report on surveys and/or short individual or focus group interviews of your organization’s stakeholders. This can be used for program evaluations, needs assessments, or stakeholder input. We can include closed- and open-ended questions, offer comparative answers by response group, and perform rigorous thematic coding and statistical analysis on the data. Our reporting is accessible, and can occur in varied formats. For example, we could conduct focus groups of employees and a survey of clients to see if your services align with stakeholder needs.

Document and Media Analysis

Redwalla can perform rigorous thematic coding and statistical analysis on existing data or internal or public-facing documents that your organization provides in written or visual format, to help tell the story of your work and/or to identify ways to reach wider or different stakeholder audiences. For example, we could analyze meeting minutes and your website to identify how well you are telling the story of your organization’s values. We can combine this method with surveys or interviews for stakeholder input or audience reception analyses to see how your messages are communicated and received by identified stakeholders.

Organizational Culture Analysis, including Spatial Design Analysis

Redwalla can co-create the cultural story of your organization using ethnographic, written/visual analysis, spatial design analysis, and/or surveys and interviews to gather stories and data. We can help you craft your organizational story, including its mission, values, roles, relationships, and current and future needs. We can assess, using a systems approach, locations of success and opportunity. We can also incorporate industry-specific standards or data instruments into the project. For example, we could assess your organization’s virtual and in-person social dynamics to check for group differences in use of space and meeting times, and uncover opportunities for creative collaboration to better meet stakeholder needs.

Group Facilitation, Strategic Planning and Mission Development

Redwalla can facilitate an inclusive online or in-person strategic planning retreat, help your group evaluate mission and values, or lead workshops that enhance collaboration and feelings of belonging. This facilitation can be conducted using traditional techniques such as brainstorming and breakout groups; it can also be done using design thinking and play techniques. For example, we can help your organization figure out how to reframe its resource allocation in an afternoon of dialogue, journey mapping, reflection, pattern-sorting, and even toy brick play exercises to enhance collaboration and identify shared values.
